What's optometry instrument used for?

Optometry is an examination to evaluate and determine the refraction results. During the optometry process, we need to use autorefractor, phoropter, vision charts, trial lens set, PD meter and other products to measure refraction, check eye position, test accommodation, check pupil distance and measure astigmatism.

Main Products

Autorefractor

Autorefractor is an objective optometry instrument that uses ring lighting system, hartmann wave front sensor or rotary prism technology to quickly calculate the patient's refractive power without mydriasis.

Phoropter

Phoropter is a subjective optometry instrument that checks the refractive power and visual function of the human eye by combining different internal optometry lenses. Manual type and digital type are both available.

Visual Chart

Visual chart could be divided into near and distance charts. Common types of visual chart we use are Decimal chart, Snellen chart, LogMAR chart and 5-Grade chart. It could be auto chart projector, LED vision chart screen and portable reading chart.

Trial Lens Set

Trial lens set is a professional optometry instrument that can accurately check the refractive state of the human eye. Trial lens set is mainly composed of positive and negative spherical lenses, positive and negative cylindrical lenses, prism lenses, and auxiliary lenses. It should be used with trial frame.

Lensmeter

Lensmeter is used to measure the sphere, cylinder and prism power of lenses and also determine the cylindrical axis direction of cylindrical lenses. Manual type and automatic type are both available. It is one of the most commonly used devices in optical shops.

A: For small packages, we recommend the express service, which is faster and more convenient. Our forwarder also provides air freight, sea freight and rail transportation.
