Ophthalmic Microscope Placement Control

The principles of operating microscopic instruments under a microscope are:

(1) The shape of the hand-held device is like a holding pen, light and stretched, and there is plenty of room for movement.

(2) The hand is steady as a rock.

(3) The needle holder, knife and scissors are controlled by the dominant hand, while the tweezers are controlled by the non-dominant hand.

(4) There must be quite satisfactory coordination when operating with both hands at the same time.

(5) Any device that enters the anterior chamber must take a path parallel to the surface of the iris, and the direction can only be changed after the tip is in place.

(6) The scene is very limited by the magnification, and the range of movement of surgical instruments is quite limited. In particular, it is necessary to avoid less up and down movements.
